7.8/10

I stayed at The Croft for one night and found the experience quite mixed. The rooms, although small, were adequate for a short stay and had a good ensuite with toiletries. However, as a 4-star hotel, it lacked expected amenities like a reception, restaurant, parking, bar, or in-room desk. The location, right in the heart of Bridgnorth, was ideal for exploring the town and accessing the Severn Valley Railway. The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, perfect for a night out near pubs and restaurants. The dining experience, with its homemade jams and good selection for breakfast, added a lovely touch to the stay.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone's throw away from Bridgnorth's bustling High Street, offering a serene and convenient stay. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-equipped with all the necessities, although some soundproofing improvements are still underway. The service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff always ready to assist. Dining options are delightful, showcasing a variety of local produce. Overall, a great value for money stay with minor room for improvement in soundproofing.
